Full validation performed following installation
When a cleanroom has been built by Connect 2 Cleanrooms a validation is completed to cleanroom standard ISO 14644-1 prior to being used by the customer. The validation process is carried out by a qualified Connect 2 Cleanrooms Project Engineer.
Our modular cleanrooms at Connect 2 Cleanrooms can be manufactured to achieve between ISO Class 4 to ISO Class 8.
The clean rooms will be validated to ‘as built’ occupancy state according to the agreed ISO 14644-1 cleanroom classification. A comprehensive cleanroom validation report will be supplied within 1 week of installation detailing our agreed scope of works including:
- Filter scan certificates
- Airborne particle counts
- Air flow
- Air changes
- Lighting lux levels if required
- Filter Integrity Test by means of aerosol challenge
The format of the report is in line with the ISO standards, so should meet your requirements and those of any nominated regulatory body.
To ensure that your cleanroom continues to perform efficiently and enhance your business process Cleanroom Standards ISO 14644-1 recommends that a cleanroom of ISO class 6 and above needs to be validated every 12 months and a cleanroom of ISO class 5 and below needs to be validated every 6 months.
If you have a Connect 2 Cleanrooms room, we strongly advise you to have a regular validation service performed by one of our Project Engineers, as we know your cleanroom and your needs. This is your guarantee that the cleanroom solution you have invested in will carry on working for you.
